The LG KT520 is a slider-form phone with the new ‘finger mouse’ technology. A phone targeted towards the frequent phone-internet-surfers, the LG KT520 comes with a zoom in and zoom-out function, a dedicated Internet Hotkey and single band HSDPA (3.6 Mbps).
A 3G device, complete with GPRS and EDGE technologies, the handset measure 101.4 x 49.6 x 15.3 mm and weighs merely 97 grams. Its 2.2” TFT screen displays 256K colours and has the 360 degrees navigation facility using the finger mouse.
The LG KT520 has a 3.15 MP primary camera with digital zoom, a secondary video-call camera and video recording capability. An internal 30 MB memory plus GB expansion capacity makes data storage convenient. The handset also allows for the photo-calling feature and stores up to forty numbers each of dialled, received and missed calls.
Data transfer is supported by a v2.0 Bluetooth and additionally a USB port. The messaging client supports SMS, MMS and EMS. The browser interface is supported by 2.0/xHTML and HTML.
Games on the phone are pre-installed and together with an FM Radio, the LG KT520 is able to keep its user entertained, when so desired! An interesting and unique feature is the voice-dial and voice-command recognition by the phone’s software. The video player can recognise the MPEG4 and H.263 formats while the music player supports MP3 and AAC formats.
Ring tones on the LG KT520 are downloadable polyphonic type and MP3 formats. The LG KT520 runs on a standard Li-Ion battery with a life of three and a half hours of talk time.
